Seven
Weeks
The embryo is about a 1/5 of an inch in length. A
primitive heart is beating, head, mouth, liver and intestines
begin to take shape. |

Eight
Weeks
The embryo is now 1 inch in length, facial features, limbs,
hands feet fingers and toes have become apparent. The
nervous system is responsive. |

Twelve
Weeks
The fetus is now 3" long and weighs almost an ounce. The
muscles begin to develop and the sex organs form, eyelids,
fingernails and toenails also form. |

1/2 Months
The fetus is now 5 inches long. The child blinks, grasps and
moves mouth. Hair grows on the head and body. |

4
Months
Your baby is now 16cm long and weighs 35 grams. It is
exercising all its limbs, kicking and moving about. You
may feel your baby moving. |

5
Months
Your baby is now 8" long. Internal organs continue to mature. |
|
6
Months
Fine hair grows on eyebrows and head. Eyelash fringe
appears. Weight is 64g (22oz.) Height 23cm (9").
Babies born at this age have survived. |
